In a continued effort to strengthen the bonds of collaboration between two prestigious institutions, Ghent University (UGent) and the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley), we are pleased to announce the awarding of a seed funding grant. This grant, under the project "Staging the Musical Self(ie)," serves as a catalyst for broadening and deepening the partnership between staff and faculty at both universities.
In 2023, this grant, awarded for "Staging the Musical Self(ie)," has been instrumental in facilitating the academic journey of a UGent student who embarked on an enriching exchange experience at UC Berkeley. This student's participation serves as a testament to the program's success in promoting cross-border academic exchanges and fostering global perspectives.
